    President's Report

Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays Members and Friends,

2019 has been an amazing opportunity for me and the Southern NM SHRM Chapter.  I have been blessed with a wonderful Board who continuously supported me and the chapter.  I’m so proud to be a part of this professional organization.

This year the Board moved the chapter forward and continued the development of membership, our website, our monthly speakers and our exceptional Employment Law Update (ELU).

With the official start of the holiday season, the Board and I would like to offer a big “Thank You” to all our members with a Holiday Membership Appreciation Event.  This event will be held on December 3rd from 5:30pm to 7:30pm at Rudy’s BBQ.  We will be installing our 2020 Board and recognizing our graduating seniors from NMSU during the event.  Please join us and bring a friend.

As a reminder, our elected 2020 Board:

    President:                           Tania Proctor

    President-Elect:                Meg Haines

    Secretary:                           Eva Hernandez

    Treasurer:                            Jeff Avent

As always, I want to personal thank our 2019 Board and our members for all you do for our organization and the Human Resources profession.  If you have any program ideas, speakers or suggestions, please feel free to email our President-Elect at [email protected].  We are here for you and want to make Southern NM SHRM your organization.

See you at the December 3rd Membership Appreciation Event!

    Delyce Maciel, PHR, SHRM-CP

    2019 President
